    In contrast to air-conditioned, airtight rooms, the window is wide open; the sensations evoked by the site, the materials and the colours all reflect the Var region. The décor is not a series of fictional layers, but layers that enhance the indoor climate and amplify the perception of reality. Two layers of curtains cool the room: a large mosquito net that deflects direct sunlight and a humidifying curtain made of water-soaked ceramic tiles.
